Eugenol

Is a type of phenol. Eugenol is very antiseptic and stimulating. Because the properties are so strong, they are sometimes toxic to the central nervous system. Cinnamon leaf is distilled to extract the eugenol.

Sesquiterpenes

Are antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. They work as a liver and gland stimulant, and contain caryophyllene and valenen. Recent research from the Universities of Berlin and Vienna show increased oxygenation around the pineal and pituitary glands.
